Careers at Evergreen Shippers

Apply to build a freight career at the inland anchor of the Pacific Northwest.

Why Evergreen Shippers

A freight desk that compounds over years

Evergreen Shippers is a Spokane-headquartered transportation brokerage (FMCSA MC#896325, USDOT 2569360) covering the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We dispatch flatbed and oversize project cargo (our largest revenue category), reefer and dry van for the Yakima Valley apple / cherry / hop and Tri-Cities frozen-fry / dairy economy, drayage to NWSA terminals, cross-border freight to BC and Mexico, and the full inland corridor stack from Spokane out to Seattle / Tacoma / Portland / Boise / Missoula / Bellingham.

We hire for the long term. Spokane gives us a structural advantage on the I-90, I-82, US-395, and US-95 corridors that most PNW brokers cannot match — and we want teammates who want to build the carrier relationships, shipper accounts, and operational discipline that compound over years rather than chasing one-off spot loads.

If freight is the business you want to make a career out of — not a stepping stone — we want to hear from you. Fill out the application below; we read every qualified inbound.

What happens after you apply

The process is human-scale

No applicant tracking black hole. A real person reads every qualified inbound. Here is how we typically move:

1

We read your application

Usually within a few business days. If we want to learn more, we email you back to schedule a short intro call.

2

30-minute phone screen

Mutual fit conversation. We talk about what you have run, what role interests you, and what the desk would look like here.

3

On-site visit in Spokane

Half a day at our office. Meet the team, see the desk, sit in on dispatch. This is where most decisions happen.

4

Reference checks & offer

We verify references, finalize terms, and extend an offer in writing. From application to offer typically runs 2 to 4 weeks.

Do I need to be in Spokane? All current roles are based at our Spokane, WA office. The half-day on-site visit is part of our hiring process and most decisions happen there. If you would need to relocate, mention your timeline and any constraints in your cover note.

If we are not currently hiring the exact role you applied for, we still read your note and keep good fits on file. The freight business moves in cycles — the desk we open six months from now might be the one you wrote in about today. We will let you know either way.
